Facebook status

Facebook Smart Ads

Nothing. Just put nothing. Your better off.

This comic would have had more cells, it did continue however thanks to smart phone backup I lost them. It continued in the same way until he/she finally decides to put nothing as a status, and Facebook ads decide she/he is dead and advertises for funerals and burial plots and the character just walk away smh. Anyway, this part is funny too. Haha.

Why million Peaces

Why a million PEACES?
Some people find their personal peace, their zen, different ways. For some it's art. For others it's music. Writing calms many. Reading soothes some, too. People reach their happy place, their peace, in their own way. I find my peace doing all of these things, and more. Maybe it's chronic scatterbrained-ness, perhaps it's just my eclectic nature, but I need to always pursue more. More things, more adventures. That's how I find my peace. Not by resorting back to what I love, though I often do, it's learning something new, trying something different, or finding something intriguing that helps me find my center, my enjoyment, my peace.

Also, I could not pick a recurring theme to write about. Hey, I just don't work that way. Hopefully you enjoy, and find your piece of peace!

Social Network - unsolicited movie review

The Social Network, you know that movie about how Facebook started, was a pretty good flick. Very entertaining, great story, great cast, great character development, but am I the only one who was left a little pissed off?
Now I question, was/is Mark Zuckerberg an asshole? Thanks to the movie, I can't stop thinking he is. What is the underlying message in this movie?
Perseverance comes with motivation and dedication.
The best ideas are sort of stolen.
Money is more important than friendship.
Be a close minded, selfish d-bag and get money and girls.

Ok I have no idea what message you can pull from this cinematic gem (no sarcasm, I do like this movie) but I do know that it really does resemble real life in its imperfect message and strange ending. You don't always get your dream girl. Honesty and truth don't always win. Sometimes you can lie cheat and steal, and NOT get caught. Like I said, not a great message, but a good story, a real story.

Asshole or not, this guy is a genius.

Baby naming

Baby on the way! I couldn't be more excited! My sister is having a boy in July. Now with all the exciting hubbub that comes with impending babies, naming can be either the easiest (like you picked out your kid's name when you were 10) or the hardest thing to do in preparation.

Being able to pick your child's name is like having partial control in their identity and confidence as a child or teen. If you name then after a television show, or family member, the back story will surely ( should you choose to tell them) affect how they view themselves. Giving a child a name that is confusing to pronounce or hard to spell can become an annoyance as they are always correcting people later in life. An embarrassing name could cause teasing and in turn low self esteem or timidness. These are all things to consider.

To top that off, you also have to find something you like and that sounds good and compatible with baby's last name. This is why I say difficult. I reached out to the public for help for my sister. I asked for the best boy names out there. Here are the results. Some are good, some are awful, and some are ridiculous and funny. Enjoy!
